What does Bush have planned for the RNC?
I'm awaiting the Republican convention with baited breath-- has anybody heard much about what policies and/or cheap gimmickry that Bush campaign is likely to roll out in NYC? About what their election strategy from now until Nov 2 will be?

1. More of the same: Terra, Tax cuts, & God Bless America
They have nothing of substance to work with.

2. I predict he will make a surpise visit to the Statue of Liberty
He will climb to the crown or the torch - and of course helicopters filming for TV ads will be flying around him. Wait and see.

3. Attack Kerry's senate record
they'll steer clear of the vietnam thing and go after his "liberal, soft on defense, absentee record". I'll bet on it.

4. If you watch that convention, I'll slap you to until you repent!!!
I've always watched both conventions. I totally refuse this year because I've never had to watch anti-American, Nazi, crime family, slime on parade before. Ronnie was an idiot but he wasn't an outright, knowing Nazi idiot. He will say the same type of crap that just totally turned the people off to his State of the Union Address---remember?? No one is going to watch this except the faithful. Don't go there. Don't listen. Don't give the whores the satisfaction that you are watching. Turn it off.

6. Oh, post script. Did you see that George is going to fly in at the
last minute, give his speech and leave?? Hmmmmm....are you scared, chickenshit??? You are such a yellow piece of shit, Bush. Why don't you go out among the admiring and stand on the WTC site with your goddamn bullhorn - oh, and maybe you could wear a flightsuit for the occassion, you loser.

5. Hillbilly music, Christian music, and an old fashioned
tent revival meeting. Screwball religion is about all he's got left to campaign on. He's thrown about all the mud he has at Kerry, and most of it has blown back and stuck to him.

The lineup of music is 100% Nashville, 100% cornball heartland stuff. He knows his base of ill informed, lied to, and just plain deluded, Rapture obsessed CINOs well, and this stuff should lull such fools into thinking if Bush is in office, all those traditional values of mom, apple pie, and old time intolerant relgion will remain intact.

This stuff is going to play really well in Peoria, and there's not much we can do about it except rent movies until it all goes away.

7. How about
A new dress code for all GOP'ers:

Brown shirts

And all future conventions to be held outdoors with lots of drums and marches.

Oh, you're talking about near future, I thought you were talking about Bush's plans for the GOP IF he wins in NOV.........Sorry, nevermind

9. Anyone thinking about watching Bush's speech?
If you can manage to watch him lie for almost an hour that is. If I watch any part of the RNC, that's the only part.
