Talk about laboring mightily, and bringing forth a mouse. While this story, on the face of it, harms O'Neill's credibility, I doubt it will have any impact at all on the vast majority of American voters, who will respond with "I can't follow all this -- in Cambodia or not? -- who knows and who cares? The only thing I know is that a whole bunch of his fellow sailors have testified that Kerry is unworthy."

I hope any other "bombshells" are more potent than this. And if this story was what Oliphant was referring to when saying "the counterattack begins tomorrow"...be very, very afraid.

part of faithful Democrats. If it does, then Kerry has a problem. I'm so afraid that people talk this way when it's all slipping away from them. And most of the time, squat shit nothing happens. There is no big 'dramatic thing' that they waited for and were sure was in the plans. Maybe all this talk is suppose to pump me up. It doesn't; it scares me and depresses me.
