Where they will praise a network one day, when they shill for the GOP, and then bash that same network the next when a hint of truth like the O'Neill/Nixon tape gets exposure, I remain suspicious of ALL major news media! Even when Matthews is grilling Thurlow, or O'Neill, relentlessly, I still have that nagging suspicion that he's not sincere about getting to the REAL truth of the whole swiftsmear affair. I lost faith in network news looooong ago!

It looks like we're averaging about one good, confirmed debunk per day now, however. Probably a lot more! At this rate by the end of next week the Swiftliars will be so discredited it will be impossible for the news networks to take them seriously. I imagine by the end of September they will go the way of the "Kerry Intern Scandal" or those "Stolen FBI files" stories that the freepers were just so proud of and sure would bring Kerry down!

I will be so happy when they make the headlines...right next to the Bat-Boy Found in Cave stories...finally finding they're place where they belong!

8. We must not be lulled by a brief moment of clarity by the News!

Whenever I see a particular story that is actually CRITICAL of the RNC from any news source, I see it as a brief moment of lucidity among the feverous and delusions rantings of a dying man! I'm still aware the patient is dying, the outlook grim...but for a brief instant the fever broke and the man that once was awoke and opened his eyes..oh how I miss Walter Cronkite...

The freepers are good at complaining, and until those that oppose them complain with the same veracity, you will never see fairness. The news media is partial to the repukes, and the fact is the Bush admin manipulates them well.. The funny thing is if the media talks bad about his admin they no longer allow access, but then what is access to Bush really? The man is never available to answer tough questions, he is a coward when not prepared in advance with a script..
