I help Pat & Michael with the Iraq Coalition Casualty Count site http://icasualties.org/oif/ and the Lunaville blog, and every time I read a WRP article that refers to the ICC it's a "WOW!!!" kinda thing for me, lol!

I'll tell ya why tho. Back in around August 2002 I could see the total same ol bullshite starting up that happened in the Gulf War; the lies, the demonization etc.

That war was just as phoney and total bullshit as this one. So seeing it coming again, I started really paying attention to the various lies and such, and posting on boards and speaking out.

My hubby is a 4th ID US army soldier who knew the Gulf War was BS, he'd been there, he knows; and here we were going again.

And I got attacked like I never thought possible! People I'd thought as friends for years called me a c-word, and traitor, that I should be "dragged through the streets until dead". My inlaws said much the same thing and refused to speak to me when I said I was totally against any invasion of Iraq.

Then hubby was sent to Iraq and I was alone with being cyber-stalked, death threats, the whole Great American Way treatment. It was so bad back then, I kept a chair lodged against my front door. Sounds so stupid now, but remember what these warmongerers were like back then??? Total mob mentality!

And when I desperately needed reminding and reassurance that yes the world is with me and against the warmongerers and yes I am a good person and yes I am not a traitor who should be "dragged through the streets", I'd sit and read every word of every article by Mr. William Rivers Pitt. :)

Btw, back in the day, the Freepers claimed that most of the posters on DU were actually puppet names for a few folk one of them being Will. Hence the claim "We are all Will Pitt"...

It's Pat & Michael at ICC that are just INCREDIBLE! I only help as a "spotter" for them. And I do posting on the blog.

But Pat & Michael are True American Patriots that care enough about the troops who are dying for bush's lies, they count them and thus prevent them from being forgotten...as much as bush & his rightwingnuttery would prefer it if they were.
