Rachel Maddow Show, Video Of McCain waiting outside for his turn
A women just called the R.M.S. and said she will post video of McCain's
motorcade waiting outside Saddle Back Church as Obama was on stage.

If this is true than McCain could have been watching and/or listening
to Warren question Obama ..... Rick Davis said today that McCain was in
traffic and could not have seen it.

The women said she will send the Maddow show a link to her youtube
film of McCain waiting to go on after Obama.

As of now this 100% pure interntets rumor. :bounce:

1. "In traffic" means nothing.
All he needs is an assistant with a TV set and a cell phone to get the questions ahead of time.

and then saw his car pull around the building and park. She said she saw McCain get out of the car, walking around. This is hugh!!!111!!

2. Maybe he didn't see it, but he sure as
shit could have heard it.

I would bet heavily that whatever vehicle they were driving has satellite radio.

And either service, Sirius or XM, broadcasts CNN audio.

11. Did McCain do that well and /or Obama did that
poorly that would lead to so much discussion about McCain getting tipped off before hand. How did their interviews match up head to head?

22. McCain would often begin answering the question even before the question
being ask had been completed. The one on Education was the most glaring one I believe but there were other instances as well.

Obama did well given the forum and it's attendant audience are not known to be supporters of Democrats or, indeed, even moderate repubs.

McCain didn't flub much and came across as knowing what the question was going to be before it was asked.

15. They could have a video of McEnvy in the limo/SUV
with Obama on the tv included in the frame and deny it and say it was faked and his supporters would swallow it.

19. Obama did well,
but McPOW did better than he usually does when confronted with questions he has no prior knowledge of. He was even answering and referring to question that hadn’t been asked yet.

21. Whether McCain "did well" isn't the issue.
Cheating is the issue. Getting caught in a lie is the issue.

24. I never claimed to have proof of anything
I was merely pointing out that a question has been raised, legitimately so in my opinion, as to whether or not McCain played by the rules at Saddleback and whether he and his campaign are telling the truth about it. That has become an "issue", whether one thinks McCain did well at the event or not. I'm not sure if you are a MCCain supporter or simply "above the fray" of hardball politics, but whther you like it or not, people who are in the trenches are going to work this story. More power to them.

29. Of course I'm not for McCain
Edited on Mon Aug-18-08 07:14 PM by bbinacan
I just hate seeing all the blanket statements made with no supporting evidence. Jeez, it's like two kids playing a game and the one that gets beat yells cheater. In all fairness, I didn't see the interviews but, what I've read here gives me the impression that Obama didn't do well. That's all I'm saying.

EDIT for spelling.

30. here's some info
actually, he did really well and if you read some of the threads here, you see a lot of people had friends and family who were repuges say they were changing their vote to OBAMA. It may depend on what you look for and value in a leader; but the very thoughtfulness and deliberation in his answers which made him even more attractive to some made others (msm) say he was not as on game as usual. I didn't see it that way; and the videos are here for you to watch and form your own opinion.

Why was he accused of cheating by so many news papers today and now even msm? Because the pastor said he had seen McCain in the green room in a "cone of silence". McCain then came on and made a joke about being in the green room with his head agaisnt the wall trying to listen. Both of these things turned out to be untrue when it was discovered later that McCain was nowhere in the building. Why did he lie about it and why was it presented to the audience as if he were in a cone of silence in the building?

then, mc cain, who has never been known for being quick on the verbal repartee, began answering questions that had not been asked yet. the pastor once told him he was doing it and next the pastor reminded him of poker, as in, get yoru poker face on.

you can see the videos for yourself and it is quite clear that either this is a different man who can finally think and speak quickly or he knew the questions in advance.

They were both told general topics that would be covered, but mccain answered specific questions.

If you watch the videos, you'll know exactly why this is pretty obvious -- so much so that even msm are commenting on it.

25. Obama did a great job. McCain spewed off talking points
I think his performance seemed great because it was a very pro Republican crowd and all he did was pander to them.

Just ask yourself, the best the media could do to criticize Obama that night was his answers were to intellectual and too thoughtful. Like thats a bad thing.

But having said that. Knowing what was going to be asked. Was unfair
