all the whores are constantly claiming to love "defining moments" in political campaigns, like Reagan's scripted "there you go again" or his lame joke about not using Mondale's age against him, etc. etc.

And they're constantly complaining about the lack of such defining moments these days, especially regarding Kerry.

Now, what could be more of a defining moment than sending a triple-amputee veteran, who had himself been slimed by Rove, right into the heart of Mordor?

So what excuse could they possibly come up with for downplaying this?

It may be satisfying to Kerry supporters, but it seems to me that we need to be appealing to the undecideds. Sending "wronged" people to the mount to whine to the emporer does not seem to me to be a tactic that will appeal to independents.
