New Quinnipiac Poll of NJ Kerry 49% Bush 39%

Kerry holds a ten-point lead in New Jersey 49-39 in a new Quinnipiac poll released today, this compares to a lead of 49-36 percent on August 4th.

As a comparison, Al Gore led Bush by 52-38 in NJ on August 24, 2000.

46% of NJ respondents believe Gov. McGreevey should resign now
48% of NJ respondents believe Gov. McGreevey should resign in November.

Senator Jon Corzine would be the most formidable Democrat to run for Governor of NJ beating all Republicans in match-ups.

He has it sewn up. The battleground states are what matter.
