Where he said he would usher in an era of "personal responsibility in government" ending the era of "if it feels good, do it, and blame somebody else." So now what have we seen?
1) Bush takes no responsibility for his lawyer advising the Swift Boats 2) Bush takes no responsibility for people working for him promoting the Swift Boat Veterans 3) Bush takes no responsibility for the Abu Ghraib scandals, instead blaming some low-ranking scapegoats. 4) Bush takes no responsibility for waging a war on false pretenses, merely blames faulty intelligence in one breath, and insisting that he did the right thing anyway in the next 5) Bush takes no responsibility for the mess that Iraq has been after the war 6) Bush takes no responsibility for the "Mission Accomplished" banner, instead blaming the people on the boat, which was a total lie. 7) Bush takes no responsibility for September 11 and not taking the Al Qaeda threats seriously 8) Bush takes no responsibility for the growing deficits on his watch. 9) Bush takes no responsibility for the utter failures of No Child Left Behind 10) Bush takes no responsibility for the increase in pollution 11) Bush takes no responsibility for Harken and his sale of $800,000 worth of stock a week before it plummeted. He claims he was exonerated, which is a lie. 12) Bush takes no responsibility for declining job numbers, falling wages, etc. 13) Bush takes no responsibiltiy for his DUI, instead questioning the timing of the news coming out -- despite the fact that he had lied about it (he was quoted that he wasn't arrested after his youthful indiscretions in 1968). 14) Bush still takes no responsibility for his TANG disappearing act 15) When asked what his biggest mistake has been, he couldn't come up with anything ("Uh, gee, I wish you gave me that question in advance. I'm stumped).
You can probably add dozens more to this list. But you'd have a hard time coming up with a single case of him actually taking responsibility for anything.
