Dubya, meet VVAW...
LOL...

I just realized!

Rassman and Max Cleland going to Bush's "heavily guarded ranch" to "try" to deliver a letter...!

This is a visual replay of what happened in 1971, when the VVAW, including decorated Vietnam vets in wheelchairs attempted to deliver wreaths to the Arlington National Cemetary in D.C., and Nixon had the gates locked to them. It created a furor, that the president would turn away wounded veterans. He tried to keep them from camping on the Mall, and the police refused to arrest them. They were kept away from the Capitol by a fence--their own Capitol that they had defended with their lives--and then threw their medals and other keepsakes over the fence.

What's Bush gonna do when a decorated Green Beret and a decorated vet in a wheelchair arrive in Crawford? Lock his gates?

HAH.

Who says Dems don't understand visual psychology, hmmm?

5. Hmmm, is the Pig Far.. er, the Ranch private property?
I would suppose it is, even if the taxpayers financed it through security dollars, etc. I'm sure it isn't ADA compliant - too bad it isn't public property - lawsuit!

6. Aside from the idea pushed by W that it is "White House West",
I just think that the insensitivity would be obvious, nothing to do with ADA.

Especially given W's propensity to "speak his mind" (what there is!).

3. The more I think about it

The more brilliant this move gets.

Chimp can do one of 2 things...

1) Ignore, not invite in these two men and draw the ire of everyone in the English speaking world not to the right of Limbaugh

2) Invite them in, LENDING EVEN MORE credibility in the move to oppose the SBVT

The fact Kerry has his friends heading down shows that its getting close to high noon and Mr. Shrub is being called out. What a freaking stroke of genious.
