7. There is NOT a double standard
There is truth ... and there is falsehood ...

ANYONE can SPEAK: .... they can choose to speak to TRUTH, or to lie ....

Bush chose the latter ....

Edited on Wed Aug-25-04 01:01 PM by speedoo
If dumbya has a brain (questionable), he already regrets sliming him in 2002, I guarantee it.

And Rassman is very forcefully addressing the Swiftliars charges.

They wrap it up, and then the dogcatcher tries to speak, everyone walks away!!!

Could not have worked out better.

27. Why should Bush standup and be a man

Is there a bigger loser in American Presidential history?

1-While John Kerry volunteered for Vietnam, a war he would eventually oppose, WBush was avoided it and then beign AWOL from NatGuard Service.

2-While John Kerry offered to go speak at anti-kerry, right-wing Bob Jones University in South Carolina, WBush refused to attend the NAACP convention because they had been mean to him

3-While John Kerry campaigns in a free and open venue accepting any and all people no matter their viewpoint, WBush continues his charade of having "hand selected" people behind the iron curtain

Bush is a coward. He is a worthless piece of shit. Now he stands behind surrogates who lob grenades at John Kerry while protecting his superfortress of privledge.

if G.W. Bush wins the election in Nov I am going to f***** lose my mind. Kerry > Bush

22. Josh Marshall's take is hilarious!
Oh, this is good stuff.

The Kerry campaign is sending Max Cleland and Jim Rassman down to the president's 'ranch' to hand deliver a letter signed by seven veterans serving in the United States Senate asking Bush to "recognize this blatant attempt at character assassination, and publicly condemn it."

Nice political theater and it couldn't happen to a nicer guy.

Maybe it's time for Bush to bug out?

Or maybe put in for a transfer to Alabama ...

He's incompetent. Says Bush Cheney called him and drafted the letter. He's coming across as just another Texas crony. Now Faux and CNN have stopped covering him.

34. The (p)resident is quite obviously
too afraid....(I almost said ashamed....now that would have been an oxymoron - Bush ashamed!)to meet Senator Cleland face to face. What a sight that would be. A decorated war veteran, with three limbs missing, face to face with an AWOL chickenhawk. This can only show this piece of scum for what he is! A lying, manipulative, disrespectful, hateful, dangerous fascist. I mean...the Texas Land Commissioner????? Please!!!! What a slap in the face to the Senators who signed this letter. But, I suppose they have been snubbed by men of better character than George W. Bush...Not hard to find them...

God...Failure to unselect this crew in November is not an option. We will not be able to retrieve our beloved country from the ashes if they are left to continue burning America on their fire of greed and hate.

Ok...I feel better now. Thanks for listening! I think I'll go pull some weeds now. Thinking about Bush's character reminded me about them.
