Its time for Kerry to kick em while they're down.
Just like they do everyone else they try to roll over.
They are down in most polls, and the Max Cleland /Swift Boat Liars action is damaging the coward-in-thief more and more everyday.
Their lies and smear tactics are being exposed and they are bleeding.

Go for the jugular John! Its time to run up the score on these lying, theiving, murdering fascist pigs.

1. Especially during their convention!
Remember the terror attack threat right after the democratic convention? Karma IS a bitch. As much as I am tired of this SBV story, I will suffer through it for another week if it interferes with the RNC convention!

It is time to take the gloves off regarding smirky's TANG records. I would love to see the RNC talking heads have to defend that next week instead of filling us with lies about smirky's agenda for the next 4 years.

2. Agreed. JK's got the microphone now...
... he's got to use it.

Talk about what's wrong with this administration, and how he'll set things right. Turn every question about the smearvets into an opportunity to get his message directly to the listening/viewing audience.

And that's the key point I would drive home to JK and everyone else in the campaign. When they are answering reporters' questions, they are NOT talking to the reporters. They are talking to the voters. Don't get bogged down addressing every little detail of the question. Use it as a chance to introduce ideas and talking points important to the campaign.

3. Absolutely Agree
The fact that Kerry's having some good days on the SBVT issue is not enough. He needs to beat the living shit out of the other side over this, and turn this into an issue of Republican sleaze merchants. Kerry's campaign has started to do it, but they need to do it over and over and over and over and over and over again.

4. I both agree with you and am disappointed with myself
I hate the expression, but it applies: "To ferret out the rats you have to live in the sewer."

So, yes, I think that it is time for the Kerry campaign to go for the jugular.

While I say that, I also have a growing rage against these fackers (Rove et. al) for making a mockery out of the presidential election process and forcing we liberals to adopt this mentality. The fact that this election has already degenerated to attack/counter-attack is really harmful to the country, because it precludes discussion about the serious harm that *'s policies (or lack of) have hoisted upon us.
