Is anyone else getting the feeling that the VP might not be revealed until moments before they give their speech during the convention?
If you think about it, the tension and speculation would drive viewership off the charts. It would be great for ratings for sure.
The uncertainty and the sense of drama will suck all kinds of people in -even those not particularly into politics. That's more people hearing the Dem message.
I just get the feeling that if they weren't going to do it like that, they would have announced by now.
I think it's ultimately about maximum effect: tons of drama and excitement, get everyone paying attention and then drop the bomb, then bring the whole thing to the ultimate climax the next night with Obama's speech.
I think, if it goes down this way, it would be huge and would dominate the news. The Repugs would be at a loss to create any similar psycho-drama and the obviousness of this would only serve to depress an already depressed vibe at the Repug convention.
Given that they are playing for maximum effect re: anticipation, one wonders if it really is Hillary.
