Do you feel like your life is consumed with this campaign?
This election is so important to me and my family that I have gotten more active with it than I have with any campaign in the past 15 years.
I am so consumed with this campaign and the other Democratic races in my state that I feel like I put my kids on the back-burner sometimes. We just opened a new DNC headquarters in my city and I will be working there in the evenings as well as with other campaigns to try to get the vote out. I also find that the shows I watch on the tube are all political shows. Geezzzzzeeee...somedays I'm just ready to get nov 2 behind us, hopefully with a Kerry inauguration in Jan.

Anybody else feeling this way?

2. I've Been Consumed Since * Stole the 2000 Election
and spend so much time out of every day on line, watching news, reading news, sending e-mails and just plain being obsessed with this, to the chagrin of my family.

I don't think I can relax until I see John Kerry being inaugurated.
I will be one of the happiest people on the planet.

3. Oh, yes
I'm obsessed. I dream about it at night and think about it whenver I'm not actively working. Once in a while, when I'm shopping...and thinking about it...I look up and realize that most of the other people around me are not giving it a thought. I can't help it, though. As long as that Coward from Crawford is occupying the Oval Office it's hard to have other priorities.

18. I had a dream the other night
that was so weird that I thought about it all day. I was in a room with a huge crowd, looking for my kids. I saw someone grab one and I yelled and grabbed her just as she was being wisked away. I took her outside, across the street and John Kerry was standing there and I said, "stay here you'll be safe until I get back,"...then I went in to get my other child and it was a battle to find her. It was the creepiest dream I've had in a long time. When I woke up, I was in a cold sweat.

5. It is ALL about your children
Do not fret, you are doing more for their future than you can see at present.

The labor leaders of the past may have "went without" for awhile, only to ENSURE a decent wage for the children and grandchildren. STAY STRONG BROTHER.

6. yes! The Cong. staff fake upset GOPers last time will - if the election
is stolen from Kerry, be replaced by some folks that may feel they no longer have anything to lose by raising illegal hell.

Hope that possiblity is never tested - hate to see the US turn into an Iraq - the 60's hate at those who control those who govern never really got to any of the folks that control - or the ones that govern - and was just a mess.

7. Oh, yeah. But it's more than the campaign.
I am concerned about the direction of our society and the state of the globe in a way that is nearly excruciating.

10. Oh, yeah baby - you are singing to the choir
I feel guilty at work that I am spending too much time on DU and emailing letters to the editors and emailing cable news contacts ..

I think about the campaign ALL THE TIME.
I dream about the campaign
I think about the campaign
I get angry about the campaign

i check RW websites and make futile attempts to change psuedo-freepers minds

My best friend won't talk to me about politics because she says I'm obsessive

My boyfriend complains that I pay more attention to Jon Stewart and Keith Olbermann than him ...

The only break I get is when I volunteer or canvas for Kerry - after that(and only after that) I feel I can take a break for a couple of days.

Then it starts all over again.

(Help me, I'm sick)

17. Dh told me the other night
That he couldn't live with *me* for another 4 years if Bush won. He was laughing, so at least I know he was joking. I think.

He was also laughing tonight when the DNC came knocking at the door. I answered the door, and the very sweet out-of-breath young woman was trying to talk a mile a minute, telling me all about how important the election was and how bad Bush is. Dh just kept laughing in the background. I felt bad for her, because this neighborhood is mostly Republican and if she has the cajones to be out knocking on doors, I was determined to listen to her.
