Voter Registration in Luzerne County PA

Yesterday's paper (sorry no link available from Times-Leader website) reported some numbers regarding voter registration

They have been flooded with NEW registrations for the past couple of months

as best my memory serves me -- NEW Democratic registrations numbers approx. 3,500, new Republican registrations approx. 1,500 and Independents are around 1,300

any numbers coming in from your town?

Actually I don't often read the local print or watch the local news anymore, so this is new to me. Cheney was here yesterday in Wilkes Barre and I have just come to find out they are searching out a site for shrub to possibly appear next week. Last I heard they were looking more at Lackawana County Stadium. Anyway, as far I know everyone around here still use older style ( proven ) voting machines. I'm not to worried about the fix being in here and I also know the strong Dem base we have and always have had. This area is a must for shrub to get if he hopes to take Pa.
