CNN mentions the new "McCain Ad", but will not show it.

Just now on American Morning Heidi was discussing the events of yesterday and the ad campaigns. In passing she mentioned that the Kerry campaign had put out a new ad in some battleground states featuring John McCain chiding Bush for his disrespecting veterans (I'm sure you've all seen it on the internet and it's pure dynamite).

Do you think they showed even a snippet of it? Not NO, but HELL NO! Just think, though, they have been giving the Swifty Shit free airing every chance they get... over, and over, and over, and over.

Don't expect you will EVER see this McCain ad shown gratuitously on mainstream media. Uh uh, no way! It is probably THE most hard-hitting indictment of Bush and his filthy tricks out there, but I guarantee it will get no coverage (save a little lip service) on major news TV.

Oh, and BTW, the segué to that segment was a little gnarly piece about their latest polls showing that the Swiftboat ads had apparently indeed hurt Mr. Kerry because his numbers were slipping.

What is so frustrating about this is there isn't really any recourse. I've written these fools, and I know hundreds of others have as well... and to date, it hasn't done a damned bit of good.

7. Yes, CNN only gives free air time

to lying smear attacks against Kerry. The majority of Americans have seen the swiftboat liars thanks to the Republican controlled media despite the fact that only $60,000 has been spent for air time.

We can fight back guys. Call & write CNN and everyone else and COMPLAIN LOUD AND CLEAR.

Also, from now on, refer to the media whores as the Republican controlled corporate media. They started the myth of the "liberal" media by using the term every chance they got. We have to turn the tables and stop letting them control the language.

These networks usually only show the ads that have already been paid for to go on their networks.

That's why they keep replaying it - mo money, mo money, mo money.
