a surprise attack for the debates,so that they won't be ready with answers and get * all flustered? I hope so. You know how befuddled idiot boy gets when he fields questions that he isn't prepared for like at the Unity Conference. Never thought we'ld have a president who can't think on his feet. Lets use this to our advantage.

EDIT: What I mean by surprise attack is criticism that they haven't heard a million times already...handling of economy,war,taxes,ect.

3. He may be saving thinngs for after the convention.

Polls are going to be moving (generally) in Bush's favor for the next few weeks almost regardless of what Kerry says. Then they will inexorably move back in our direction.

Use your best zingers NOW and the polls will make it look like they had no effect (just as the polls now make it look like the swiftvet adds are devestating). Wait until after the GOP "bounce" and even if the zingers are ineffective it will look effective because the polls will be moving anyway. If they ARE effective the polls will move more quickly and the story will be about Kerry's "momentum".

4. Kerry did a great opening move on the debates already

He said that Bush beat Ann Richards and he beat Gore in the debates, and that he is a great debater.

This is exactly the opposite of what the media does when they set the bar as low as possible and then praise him merely because he didn't shit himself too much during the debate.

Kerry is setting the bar as high as possible for shrub, and then letting shrubya hang himself from it.
