Local Repubs Are Justifying Bush's Use of Olympics in Ads

The US Olympic Committee (USOC) is based here in Colorado Springs, and they and the International Olympic Committee (IOC) have called on Bush to pull the ads that contain Olympic images. The Bush Campaign has refused to pull them.

Right now on a local talk show (KVOR, Colorado Springs), caller after caller is saying they see nothing wrong with these ads, and are self-describing themselves as Bush supporters.

It's kinda funny, and a little ironic - the last person to try and use the Olympics for political purposes (Adolf Hitler) was financially supported by George W. Bush's grandfather....

if the USSR had done this during the Cold War. The Olympics are not supposed to be used in any way shape or form for political purposes.

I hope the Committee threatens bush with banning the US from future Olympics. Just threats...I'd hate to see the athletes being punished for dickhead's evil.
