all politics is LOCAL EMAIL BLASTER (Advice Needed)
Let's cooperate here to get the best use out of our new Local Email Blaster. (It's very easy to use -- link below)

This place ought to be buzzing with people posting their emails for critique, discussion, inspiration or for borrowing. And posts helping each other understand how the tool works. Let's make this something really easy and comfortable and positive for DUers to use.

There ought to be places where people post their knowledge, suggestions and personal experiences to help us all get better at this. I'm not saying the admins should make those threads. We should!

1) Use the blaster
2) Ask yourself what you know that can help and encourage others to use the blaster tool (and use it effectively) and post your insights wherever and however they will do the most good.
3) Rinse and repeat

Someone please provide the best link for ad buys--what adds are running where, and when. If a Kerry environmental ad is running in Tennessee we can reinforce it. If the SBVFT ads are running in WV and OH (which I think they are) we can help counter them. And so on...

Also, what topics/issues/arguments do you think people should blast to media in your region? Everyone in swing states has insights about their own regional politics. The blaster is about thinking nationally and acting locally, so please advise the many Dems in non-swing areas what would be effective to send to your own area.

And lastly, please, please, PLEASE do not start going right to the national blaster when the national blaster goes online. This local stuff is important. It's actually more influential.

1. good idea
One more suggestion:

Argue directly to the stations airing the Smear Vet Lies for taking them off. You can say it is in violation of local community standards to give known liars, and discredited individuals air time, etc. etc.

2. Yes. And this is a good example of how useful it is to know just who
is running what and when.
