We exist so that there can be an elite group of "pigs at the trough"... oink, oink..... sad idn't it. Apparently your wealthy friends aren't tied in with said elite group that profits from the making of war...

Do an independant study.

Evaluate their situation:

A: Are the happy

B: Are the materialistic

C: Do they seem to have unusually bad luck

D: Are they healthy

E: Are the optimistic about the future

F: Are they self righteous... and in total agreement with this admin

You can get a profile of people invoved with destructive machinations.... and then you can do another study or observation for persons involved with creative activities. I am sure you will see a pattern.... something to think about... and perhaps a reason to feel sorry for those who don't see or cannot make the connection between what their fruits are.... and what their lives may have become.

7. Actually, this applies to most Republicans I know:
Taking the questions of your independent study and evaluating their situations (based on knowing them for a long time and even through their own admissions):

A: Are the happy - NOPE, NEVER SATISFIED, MANY HAVING AFFAIRS

B: Are the materialistic - DOES THEIR BRAND NEW HUMMER OR PORSCHE IN THE DRIVEWAY COUNT? OR MAYBE THE NEW VACATION HOME? OR MAYBE THE COMPLETE REMODEL/PURCHASE OF A 8000 SQ FT HOME QUALIFY? YES, VERY MATERIALSITIC - PS: GO TO QUESTION #A - THEY USUALLY THINK THE MATERIAL THINGS WILL ANSWER #A, BUT IT NEVER DOES.

C: Do they seem to have unusually bad luck - NOT NECESSARILY, BUT THEY DO COMPLAIN A LOT ABOUT EVERYTHING THAT DOESN'T GO THEIR WAY.

D: Are they healthy - MOSTLY NOT - BUT THEY ALSO STARVE THEMSELVES A LOT AND GET A LOT OF PLASTIC SURGERY...DON'T THINK THAT'S VERY HEALTHY, UNLESS LIPOSUCTIONING FAT COUNTS AS HEALTHY.

E: Are the optimistic about the future - NOPE- ALWAYS FEARFUL ABOUT SOMETHING LIKE HIGHER TAXES, TERRORISM ETC. SEE GEORGE W.BUSH AS THEIR ONLY HELP

F: Are they self righteous... and in total agreement with this admin - CONSTANTLY - SEE QUESTION E'S ANSWER

2. especially since poverty increased and health insurance coverage decreased
http://money.cnn.com/2004/08/26/news/economy/poverty_survey/index.htm?cnn=yes

Poverty spreads

Census Bureau says 1.3 million more slipped into poverty last year; health care coverage also drops.
August 26, 2004: 1:40 PM EDT

WASHINGTON (CNN) - The number of Americans living in poverty jumped to 35.9 million last year, up by 1.3 million, while the number of those without health care insurance rose to 45 million from 43.6 million in 2002, the U.S. government said in a report Thursday.

<snip>

and look at this comment:

<snip>

Sen. Judd Gregg, R-N.H., released a statement noting that the Census data covered the year 2003 and "does not include the full effect of the president's tax relief."

<snip>

And isn't' that ironic:..."...does not include the full effect of the president's tax relief" ... I guess all those people barely above the poverty line can't wait for that effect...to slip even further down and finally to qualify for the label "poor"
