Re: McCain trying to use Hillary in ads
isn't a little more likely to backfire?

I mean, I bet a lot of the most bitterly disappointed Clinton voters are just sort of tuning out politics right now and probably wont start tuning back in till the end, a lot are probably not planning to vote at all...

But watching a shameless huckster like McCain trying to co-opt Hillary for his own cheap self-interest might just piss a few off enough to make them more mad at McCain than they are Obama.

Or at least that's my initial feeling. But I was pretty solid Obama by the end of the primary so my viewpoint is scewed but maybe some hardcore Hillary people can share their feelings about what their reaction is to McCain's attempts to use Hillary.

I can't help but feel that it's beyond disrespectful and tasteless -and a lot of McCain's ads are pretty fucking tasteless at this point: it's one of the most vapid and childish campaigns I've seen ever (he's outdoing Bush for Christ's sake!). Really hope it does turn off some of the Hillary people who might feel a little conflicted at this point.

I mean, I know there where a lot of hard feelings -but can't we hate McCain together?

3. I don't understand this crap
What more can Hillary do? She denounced the ads and has asked her supporters to back Obama. I'm not a big Hillary fan at all. I think her tactics during the primaries cost her and rightfully so. What I don't understand are those die-hards that continue on with the madness. If they were true Hillary supporters you would think they would listen to what she has to say. I know some of the hold outs are not real dems but some of them are. There are some out there that are so hurt by her loss that they are not even willing to listen to reason; even if it's coming out of the mouth of Hillary.

4. While listening to Ed Schultz today, a guy called in who was a Hillary supporter.
He said he had been one of those who was going to vote for McCain... until he saw that ad. He was disgusted by the way McCain is using Hillary's words against Obama. Now he's definitely voting for Obama.
