What's the coverage so far on the Census Bureau report by our netowrks?
This question is for the people who watch cable news during the day since I'm at work and I'm not able to witness their coverage:

Are cable news channels reporting much on the Census Bureau report other than just headlines here and there?

Are the cable news stations covering the report more than the swift boat vets for Bush "drama"? You know, do they have analysts going over that fact that the number of Americans living in poverty increased to nearly 36 million last year, while the ranks of the uninsured swelled by 1.4 million (up to 45 million uninsured) as the Census Bureau reported today? Or are their analysts too busy with more important issues like the ads by the Swift Boat Vets for Bush?

Are the cable networks going over the candidates (Bush and Kerry) and their plan to solve this problem we're facing like unemployment, healthcare, low wages, outsourcing, etc.? You know, the numbers reported by the Census Bureau are bad and with the deficits we at least expected for the numbers to be a little better.

<sarcasm>Is the fact that we have more people below the poverty line and more Americans uninsured and the president doesn't offer a solution to the problem (other than cutting taxes for Rich people and corporations) newsworthy?</sarcasm>

1. Heard it several times on NPR
they went over the facts, but didn't have a special segment on it. Since I don't have health insurance, and fear my blood pressure may be getting high, I don't watch cable news any more.

3. I have CNN on 90 percent of the day. Their coverage was pretty good--
Of course the A**hole Novak on Crossfire says the reason people don't have health coverage is because the don't want to PAY for it.
I've been in a rage ever since. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!
