What I love about the Obama/Biden ticket
What I love about the Obama Biden ticket is that both men are truly self-made men who came into elected service not out of money or name recognition, but a sense of duty. Both came from humble origins from humble families and made the best of themselves they could possibly have made.

I don't know the last time we had the potential for a Presidential-Vice Presidental combo you could say that about both sides of the ticket. Even Al Gore, as truly admirable as he is, had the benefit of being a senator's son.

1. John Kerry could've easily been groomed to serve the fascist agenda, but he chose to risk his neck

time after time. How many in DC would you REALLY trust would risk their life to protect yours or your family? Was Kerry coddled and protected in any way when he was under heavy fire and refusing to leave any man behind?

And when he uncovered and investigated IranContra and BCCI and CIA drugrunning he accomplished it very much on his own without even the support of his fellow Democrats who were mostly aligned against his efforts.

Kerry and Edwards were strong achievers - and both did it on their own. Kerry became the lawmaker who exposed more government corruption than any lawmaker in modern history, and Edwards became (on his own) a top lawyer taking on powerful corporations.

Obama and Biden are great - but do Dems really need the revisionism re other tickets?
