Everybody knows if he selects a female running mate it isn't for the right reasons. It will be just because Hillary wasn't selected by Obama and he wants to try and attract disafffected democrats, but after Tuesday and Wednesday with the Clinton's strong support and endorsement our party is unified.

1. Who? They say he and Kay Bailey Hutchinson hate each other.
That gov. from Alaska has some ethics problems to tackle, and Stevens' ethics are now a legal issue which they won't want to draw attention to. Who are some other potential candidates besides Condi Rice?

3. If Christine Whitman is on his short list, he might as well give his concession speech now
Having her as a running mate would be worse than having no running mate at all. She brings utterly nothing to the ticket except a vagina, she certainly wouldn't put her home state in play and she's pretty much loathed by the right-wingers (the ones who know who she is.)

4. Good. Obama can be the New JFK, and McCain can be the New Mondale.

But it's not happening.
