It looks like it will be the “Trust Fund Ticket” for the Republicans
With reports that Mitt Romney is getting secret service protection, it looks like the net worth of the two candidate for national office on the Republican ticket will be close to half a billion dollars in net worth with John McCain’s wealth added into the equation.

So it looks like it will be the “Trust Fund Ticket” for the Republicans — who will continue the Republican ideology of, if you got it, you should get even more. If you don’t have it, well either you didn’t marry right or didn’t have the right connections.

5. bushco will try to steal the election if they can get Mitt Romney in the White House.
JEB Bush has been pushing Romney. Cheney wants Romney. Obviously Romney would continue the bushco plans.

4. It isn't Romney...
They said the SS did a sweep of Romney's sister's house. That's it. Sounds like a ruse, to me.

6. I predict its Romney.
I think that McCain fought against the choice but they wore him down.

8. We know he's not smart. None of them are smart.
I think that bushco wants Romney because he's just as filthy dirty as they are and he's willing to do the things they do. McCain is insane and out of control but he is a bit of a loose cannon and bushco can't depend on him. They'll try to put one of their own in as VP just as they did with Cheney.

11. I wouldn't count out Pawlenty.
He's the featured guest on MTP on Sunday. Perfect timing.

Why would McCain choose Mitt? He's wealthier than McCain. Owns more homes than McCain. And because of the Mormon thing, fundies hate him.

The only thing he brings is the Michigan connection.

If I were in McCain's position and were as evil as Karl Rove, I'd pick a woman and keep opening the Hillary wound. But who would it be? Dole? TOO OLD. Palin? Controversy going on and really not interested. Fiorina? Too corporate. Hutchison? Not likely to throw her career away on this titanic of a campaign.

Plus the guy's a complete misogynist. It just ain't gonna happen.

So, that leaves the fundies. Without the fundies he cannot win and they are NOT backing him. They hate this guy. They know he's a liar and a panderer. They may not vote for Barack, but they aren't voting for McCain either - they are staying home and "leaving it up to God". :eyes:

He needs a straight-up Fundie WASP who hasn't made millions selling out yet... if that exists. Pawlenty might be able to fill that role in the play.

I think they're hoping to steal a third election.

18. Most of them are investments.
McCain probably has a lot more than seven, too. Incredibly wealthy people tend to invest in real estate. Mittens has dozens of investment properties around the world.
