What the fuck are you smoking, Matthews? He can barely fill a game of musical chairs, let alone consistently gather 80+ thousand people for him. Maybe if the seniors in Florida thought it was a denture give away or something.

1. he was kidding. he said that at the end.
Matthews knows that Pawlenty makes up a bland ticket, he was going on about that last night.

9. I definitely think he was kidding.
he kept saying "we have to be fair...we have to be fair..", and then said that MSNBC college tour gave McCain his biggest audience yet, and that MSNBC was willing to "help him out" if he needed in the future , to "keep it even". Last night he said that Pawlenty would be the most boring addition to the ticket, just like human polenta...no bite. I think he also compared McCain and Pawlenty to two puddles with no splash or something like that.

Yeah, and isn't Matthews a lifelong Dem?
Granted, "Democrat" doesn't necessarily translate to "liberal" (plenty of centrists and conservatives in the party), but Matthews's frequent fawning over GOPers (his "man crushes," as Eric Alterman put it) does have a whiff of artificiality to it. Whereas his many positive comments about Obama seem far more genuine.

Maybe he does look in the mirror every day and hate himself. Who really knows?

5. ROFL!
Is Tweety on crack again? For people who are not familiar with Timmy the Tool -- which is almost everybody -- he makes Evan Bayh seem exciting. He'd have to set himself on fire for anyone to pay attention to him at all.

7. Are You Drunk?

This is the third straight time you've posted something that is incomprehensibly stupid, in a space of about 90 minutes. Matthews was, quite palpably, joking. Maybe you need to be troll-alerted?

In fact, my husband and I laughed pretty hard at that. Olbermann even said "maybe if they bus in people."

14. That is why they are having trouble filling a 1200 arena in Dayton OH
Dayton Ohio is a very red area of Ohio and they can't fill the arena tomorrow when he is supposed to introduce his mate.
