I kept thinking of the speech at the end of The American President

possibly because that was a great political speech and so was this. But there are also the parallels of the scummy RW liar against a good man who really believes in democracy. The debate challenge, that McCain just doesn't get it (and can't sell it?). The words of the movie speech kept echoing in my head.

Clearly, Brian Williams agrees with me. Yuck!
