4. what's curious to me is why she had any type of genetic testing at all, since she's pro-life; she
obviously did at 4mo since she knew the baby had down's then.

9. It is pretty standard to have at least some testing
and early ultrasounds sometimes pick up images that can point to conditions like down syndrome. Some people really want to know if there are going to be any problems in a pregnancy even if they would not terminate. I am one of the few women I have heard of who declined genetic testing when I was pregnant over age 40.

5. Personally, I think its terrific that she actually held true to her beliefs...but...
this doesn't make her qualified to be VP, nor does it say that everyone else should have their decisions removed because Gov. Palin choose to have a downs syndrome baby. It does say though that at least she's not a hypocrite.
