the one thing that sticks out to me is this smacks of desperation from the mccsame camp and is a craven, calculated and opportunistic mis-decision meant to exploit gender...certainly NOT a decision to put the most qualified person in the VP office a heartbeat away from the presidency...another gimmick.

more of the same from the status quo, but i would expect nothing less.

He predicted this pick will absolutely backfire, for the same
reasons Miers' name was withdrawn. I think diehard Rethugs
are very sensitive to being called intellectual lightweights
and will be offended at having to defend this woman's painfully
thin resume for the second most powerful job in this country
(if not the world).
