A fellow classmate of mine was just killed in Iraq.
He just graduated with me in 03. He never even had a chance to live his life.:( He was wanting to go to college but got called up from the reserves. I don't know what else to say. Please do everything you can to vote Bush out.

RIP Chuck

15. :(
It just makes the whole thing seem so much more real when someone you went to school with your whole life(I always knew him and talked to him some but we never really hung out or anything) is the one who got killed. It is always bad no matter what but it really makes you think of how bad this mess really is. I feel so bad for his close friends and family.

18. Damnit! That is so sad.
Your story is one of the major factors in why I hate Bush. Don't worry about my vote friend; I will NEVER ever forgive that little neo nazi bush, nor his family, nor his party for what they have done to your friend and to this country!!

Another bright, promising life has been snuffed out. :grr:

Indeed, Rest In Peace Young Chuck, Citizen Soldier.

19. This is the reality of war that Bush never experienced.
Only imbeciles question why Kerry's 'Nam experience trumps Bush's TANG service--- even if Bush hadn't gone AWOL.

My deepest sympathies to you and Chuck's family.

22. These young people are the reasons we need to work harder
to get the vote out. This young man died for the very thing that he never had a chance to exercise. Democracy!

This is why every American should get out and VOTE!
If you know anyone not registered to vote.
Explain to them how important this is, Please for the sake of young men like this soldier.

24. Words are so cheap when expressing what so many feel here at DU*
Except to say Im so sad to hear this. I thank you for sharing this at DU. It seems the deaths are becoming closer to home and to many that have lost someone that they love.

If you would like to share his name and rank, that might be nice. His sacrifice certainly allows for recognition.

28. Please accept my condolences for you and his family
Each death we hear about affects someone but we don't really feel the impact as individuals unless it touches someone we know or are in touch with in the electronic community such as yourself. Then it becomes much more immediate and painful.

Please tell all of your friends to be sure they are registered and ready to vote in November. Do it in your friend's memory.

The young will be the one's sent to fight and die in this travesty so please take a stand.

Peace be with you and may you always remember the good times you had with your friend.
