because that would not be good for Bush. What will we be talking about when we hit the 1000 casualties number in Iraq? Will it pass without notice? What happens when dead bodies are rotting in the streets in Iraq and nobody talks about it. (It's happening today)

170,000 people in Ohio that had jobs in 2000 are now without them. How many people have lost their jobs in the other 49 states? And people believe the 5.5% unemployment rate? It's unfortunate that Americans are unable to chew gum and think at the same time.

That's why if they are thinking about sliming John Kerry, they don't have to think about the incompetent and weak president we now have in the White House. If they are talking about what a terrible service John Kerry did in fighting for this country in SE Asia, they don't have to talk about the great job George W Bush did in defeating the communists in SE Texas.

If they talk about the ghosts of Viet Nam, they don't have to talk about the 19,000 American that have lost limbs and have been seriously wounded in the unnecessary war in Iraq. It's a sorry sight to watch them slime a Silver Star winner that fought for them in Viet Nam and glorify such a person as George W Bush. If I were asked to go to Viet Nam again, I would refuse to go. I could not see myself defending such appreciative "patriots" as these that slime people that have fought for their country and defend the cowards amongst us.
