Seriously! I have seen a lot more apathy on the part of bush supporters lately (and I'm not talking hard-core, nothing would keep them from the polls people, I mean casual voters who support bush) because they rely on the polls too heavily.
They were getting a wee bit nervous there for a while, but the neck and neck numbers have them a bit more relaxed.
That's GOOD. Don't strip them of their illusions. Low voter turnout on their side only hurts them. And I know a hell of a lot of people who verbally support bush who ASSUME a lot of things, thus if they are busy on election day or the weather's not good, or they'd rather take a nap, etc. they just figure he's got it locked up and don't bother.
I'm here in TX and I have been very pleased with all the bush supporters who have said things like "Well, I know he'll take Texas, so I'm not too worried about it...." and I say "yeah true, why bother, right?"
