Swift Boat Liars BURIED pre-convention news that would have given * a bump
Kerry had a good pre-convention bump from all the coverage leading up to the convention. AWOL didn't get one, and now has to face the swift boat scumbag backlash.

BRING IT ON!

1. I agree, last week would have been theirs, instead
Bush has to admit Kerry tells truth and that he made "miscalculation" on Iraq and resignations--not much there for the independent voter to like!

3. And I doubt this Pentagon mole business is going to be of any help.
There are now two dark clouds hanging over the convention. And any excessively heavy-handed police action is going to reflect on them. No wonder they had to turn a bomb-making equipment-buying sting into a foiled terrorist plot.

7. Now that Bush isn't cowing the press entirely, the news overtakes him

5. And this coming week, the Reich will have to explain spies in the Pentagon
instead of George's "vision" for the future. Great timing for this story -- a real 'swift' move on someone's part.

4. Never.

Kerry will not be allowed to have a big lead in the polls, because if such a lead could be documented, say the last week of October, for example, it would cause serious examination of Diebold voting results which will show Bush "winning" by a slight margin. Few would question the "margin of error" in polls that show the race as a "dead heat".
