It looks like Bush's dodging the draft and thus staying home from VN, then deserting from the TANG, is going to pull the election out for him. Should we plan to run a draft dodger in 08 and co-opt the "I am a chicken-shit coward, so vote for me" strategy that's working so well for Smirk?

What if Kerry was an (R) and Bush was a (D) - the GOP would be hyping Kerry's VietNam record to the max and going after Bush VietNam avoidance with barrels blazing. Heck they'd probably find some 60 year Viet Cong veterans to vouch for Kerry's heroism.
