Has anyone else noticed, the Bush Campaign bumperstickers
the new ones that are starting to pop up, just say "W 2004".

I wonder what that means for Cheney?

Makes it alot easier for the campaign, not to have a bunch of bumperstickers out their with Cheney's name, if they decide to change horses before the election?

10. Teenie-Weenie?
W stands for Weenie. Has anyone seen transparent stickers of black circles with the cross through line? That would be handy.

2. The W stands for Wanker
and if they swap out Cheney, it will probably be during the convention. I would guess they keep him since he is the brains of the operation. But for winning sake, they may get some normal Republican like McCain or Guiliani or even Powell or Rice.

And our stickers are way cooler and more original.

3. I remember the old Bush / Quayle stickers from 1992.
It was dark blue background with stark white Bush and dark red Quayle. You couldn't see the quayle unless you were very close.

These W04 are even more blatant about hiding the other half of the ticket.

even Poppy was bad at the time. I don't understand it. Maybe its insurance against removal of the top guy or something.

6. I have not seen ONE bumper sticker or sign for Bush here in NH!
And I travel from southwest NH to Boston about twice a week. I have not seen a single sign of the Bush campaign but I have seen lots of Kerry stickers and signs.

9. I've been saying that for weeks
For quite a while, there were NO stickers, and the Bush ads failed to mention Cheney. I honestly think old crashcart's on his way out, probably to be replaced with McCain, who is counting on an impeachment to get him into the top job.

11. What "Bush Bumper Stickers"?
Edited on Sat Aug-28-04 08:36 PM by richmwill
I am amazed and beyond delighted. To date, in my Republican-area of Upstate NY, I have seen ZERO Bush bumper stickers. I have, however, seen approximately 5 Kerry bumper stickers just in the past week, including 2 just today. A lady even came into the store I work at yesterday wearing a Kerry button on her shirt- I smiled and said to her "Nice pin". I am just finding it very amazing- as I said before this is a very Republican area of Upstate NY. I had only seen 1 Gore/Lieberman yard sign 4 years ago (no stickers), and no Clinton stickers, so to see 5 Kerry and 0 Bush is really showing me something good.

25. I'm in a Republican county
Although it is Putnam County (right above Westchester). Are you further upstate? I still love it- this county has always been Republican, ever since I've lived here, but this year I've seen zero Bush stickers, and 5 Kerry stickers just this past week (as I posted above).

He set it up for me to steal it on my way out of his house the other night but I didn't give him the satisfaction. It's small and oval shaped.

That's it.

23. Heh. I would if he put it on his car.
He says he thinks some "liberal maniac" will vandalize his car if he puts his stickers on. He just tries to bait me all the time, it's quite amusing.

16. If so, nobody told the MN GOP.
Was at the Minnesota State Fair the other day, and they were handing out Bush/Cheney stuff at their booth (conveniently located right around the corner from Monty's Reptile Circus). Fat, scowling middle-aged people were wearing Bush/Cheney buttons, also a few "Viva Bush" buttons (pandering to the Latinos, I guess). There was way more Kerry/Edwards than Bush/Cheney stuff, though -- outnumbered the GOP at least about 2 to 1.

17. bumper stickers and window signs in NJ
I saw one of those little bush bumper stickers in traffic the other day. Since this NJ is pretty much a Dem state, I wanted to take a look at what kind of driver would venture out with such a sticker. So I maneuvered around and finally got close enough to the car, which was two young male business types. But what really made me laugh were the plates on the car: not New Jersey--Nebraska!

On that day I saw some homemade signs placed on the windows of cars in parking lots. Both the signs were about different protest activities that were taking place during the republican convention. One sign said, "Take Back Our Country! Protest Republican Convention" and then the dates.

19. SW Oklahoma and N Texas: almost NO Bush Cheney stickers here lately
In the last few weeks I saw

one W2004 and one Bush-Cheney ...

and

one Veteran for Kerry and one John Kerry Sticker

I think people are just too embarrassed to drive around with Bush-Cheney stickers.

sticker in the last week or so, too.
