What all the prochoice moderates speaking at the tent meeting are for is to lull the dopes into a false sense of security with the GOP as a whole. People are not going to buy a pack of lies about a moderate Bush, but they will buy them about a moderating party.

3. I agree. Hell, they bought it the first time.
Now he has the biggest anti-moderate record, from the last four years, I've ever seen from a politician. If they haven't caught on to who this guy really is, well....

6. The "shift" won't happen.
The freepers and fundies won't allow it. The slightest suggestion of a move away from the hard right will make them nuts. Shrubby can't afford to piss off his wingnut base.
