Being two of a handful of democrats in the great southern city of Natchez, campaigning is a bit tricky. I've been making up little one page fliers like "Bush's Record on Senior Citizens", etc. and slipping them under windshield wipers at the local WalMart. But I think we've come up with another idea that may work for some undecideds. I'm getting one of those Dry Erase boards and every day I'll put a new statistic on it. 164,000 Veterans lost health care under Bush. Nothing inflammatory, just facts - maybe I should add a site for proof? Anyway, maybe it'll hit a few people's specific buttons.

My non-activist husband has been wanting to post such a sign in our yard since the war started. (It's probably time for me to get that ball rolling..)

I live in the heart of Bushista country in the South as well, and facts seem to go a long way at establishing credibility with folks who are at least open to listening. I like that you slipped that flier in at Wal-Mart .. that's the demographic we have to be engaging. Best wishes and keep it up!
