of GA made a bad choice in appointing that SOB to the senate (granted he probably didn't know he'd be so terrible in the senate). He had actually retired and then got back into politics. Right after he was appointed the seat, he said that he would be bipartisan. He supported Bush on almost every single policy issue.
Had he been a retired ex governor of GA and still endorsed Bush he wouldn't be getting as much airtime as he is now. Maybe we wouldn't have heard his incessant whining in that case.
I wish he had switched parties right after he stopped caucusing with dems. Of course he knows he wouldn't have got all this attention he's getting then.
