Edited on Sun Aug-29-04 09:29 AM by wndycty
. . .even Chris Wallace did a double take. Some needs to call him on this irresponsible shit.

Denny Hastert implied that George Soros is funneling drug money into MoveOn.org on FOX NEWS Sunday. What a fucking idiot.

1. That bloated piece of...
sh*T is in trouble for his remarks about New York following 9-11. This is almost certainly an attempt to at least save his skin with nazi wing of the rethuglican party.

is the bottom of the barell...

It just gets worse from here on out. We all need to be very vigilant, and very vocal when shit like this is said, and call them on it. E-mail, phone calls to the tlaking head themself and the network. Let them know we ARE watching and listening.

4. We can expect very dirty attacks against largest Dem donors
Howard Fineman on Matthews Sunday morning show predicted that Repubs will point attention and go after Soros, Stephen Bing and a third big Democratic donor in order to counter criticisms of the big money Repub donors such as the ones behind the Swiftliars. Leave it to the Repubs to find another sensational smear distraction to deflect criticism of Repubs and the corrupt Bushco regime.

6. Ahhhh, a REpublican makes a spurious charge and nothing
The research I've done has real facts attached to it and nobody will touch it in the United States because one bit is yet missing.

Maybe I should start a pro-Republican 527 because that seems like the only way you can get anything out there.

8. Maybe we need to start emailing your stuff to Dems with balls.
Get one of them to talk about it on television. Why wait for the media to do their job?

18. That's a Good Idea. Know Any?
Most Democrats still need to get a little more fire in them. There are some notable exceptions (Wes Clark, Max Cleland, etc.) but far too many are letting Bush get away with his bullshit.

14. What is it with their hatred of Soros?
Edited on Sun Aug-29-04 11:15 AM by RatTerrier
And most people have no idea who the hell George Soros is.

Why doesn't he badmouth the GOP sugardaddies?

Did you know some of the biggest GOP donors have some scary backgrounds?

Major cult leader (Moon).

The owner of Amway, the largest pyramid scam in the world (De Vos).

A Pittsburgh newspaper owner who organizes massive smear campaigns against Democrats (Sciafe).

The owner of a company hoping to get voting machines into many precincts (Diebold).

Shamed ex-corporate leaders turned felons (Lay).

And massive smear campaign organizers (Perry).

I'm sure I'm missing a few.

15. The NY DAILY NEWS (LLOYD GROVE) just picked it up.
LOOSE-TONGUED SPEAKER? Speaker of the House Dennis Hastert - having already enraged some New Yorkers with his remarks about local office-holders' "unseemly scramble" for federal money after 9/11 - yesterday opened a second front. On "Fox News Sunday," the Illinois Republican insinuated that billionaire financier George Soros, who's funding an independent media campaign to dislodge President Bush, is getting his big bucks from shady sources. "You know, I don't know where George Soros gets his money. I don't know where - if it comes overseas or from drug groups or where it comes from," Hastert mused. An astonished Chris Wallace asked: "Excuse me?" The Speaker went on: "Well, that's what he's been for a number years - George Soros has been for legalizing drugs in this country. So, I mean, he's got a lot of ancillary interests out there." Wallace: "You think he may be getting money from the drug cartel?" Hastert: "I'm saying I don't know where groups - could be people who support this type of thing. I'm saying we don't know."

16. Hastert..
We just don't know why he would make such outlandish comments. It must be all the drugs he is on.

Who in their right mind would think that drug cartels are for legalization?

Soros should demand an apology.

Edited on Mon Aug-30-04 08:02 AM by scmirage
the "some people say"--throw it out there--say you've heard it whether it's true or not and there are those that will believe it's true. It gets picked up by shills and repeated as the truth, and voila--in the minds of the easily duped, it is true!
