TrooperGate: What about this is not clear?

I don't get it. Palin started harassing her State Trooper ex-BIL, and trying to get him fired in 2005!!!. And that's official smears against him, on the record, to his superiors. There are transcripts of her "interviews" about this (see below). So now, this year the "fire Mike Wooten" campaign is still going on from her staffers and her husband and herself (there are emails). But yet she claims SHE DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT IT????

WHAT about her involvement in this isn't clear?

I do think though, that having the national spotlight on it might make the local investigators a little less intimidated about charging her.
