MSNBC - RNC screwed over hotels!
Talking about how the RNC pulled a bunch of rooms that had been reserved for delegates and now teh hotels are empty.

Bush will be staying at the Waldorf-Astoria.

2. I'll bet Marriott's properties in NYC are all filled....
...with RNC'ers. As for putting Dubya into the Waldorf, that is where the Saudi royal family usually stays when in NYC. It's a natural fit. Is Prince Bandar there right now? Will Saudis be guests at the RNC?

Anyone heard a number for protesters in NYC this week? The drive from the Waldorf which is on Park Avenue above Grand Central Station (42nd St) to the Madison Square Garden Convention where the old Penn Station terminal building used to stand is on 8th Avenue and 31st Street is a 12 to 15 block drive I believe. That's at least 1.8 miles from the Waldorf. Will Bush be driven or flown by helicopter the night of his acceptance speech I wonder?

I do not plan to watch any of the RNC convention although I will channel surf to get democrats comments if I can. I would prefer to listen via audio stream. Does Air America plan on being there? Anyone know?

Nawwww, they'll just roll him down 42nd Street in his bullet-proof, bomb-proof, chemical-proof, terra-proof cage for all the masses to adore.
