3. I smell 40 state win coming!!!!
Hoping for a landslide like LBJ vs Goldwater.

This thing could be over by the time the polls close on the east coast.

4. That would be terrific. If Virginia goes blue in the early
projections, it's likely going to be a huge win for Barack Obama.

8. FOLKS! THis is big. First tim Obama has broken the 50% barrier thus far
as far as I am aware in the Gallup poll. That 50% to 43% also doesn't speak about the huge state by state gaps I believe both the Obama and McCain camps know McCain is facing. Why else did Obama feel okay taking an extended break heading into the conventions? Why else did he feel comfortable giving the CLintons their day in the sun? WHy is McCain pulling out all the stops and getting a crazy unknown woman on the ticket? He is desperate.

This whole series of events this week should help plow him further into the mire. We need to hold the PRESS'S FEET TO THE FIRE! If they don't want to report accurately any more....we just stop showing up. We look at Democracy Now and NPR and tell them to go fuck off if the mainstream cable and network news won't report on the scandals brewing around McCain and his new running mate.

9. Is this the 1st time Obama's hit 50% in a big poll?
Edited on Tue Sep-02-08 05:16 AM by blogslut
That's a milestone and if his past history is any indication, he won't dip below by much after this.
