Alright I just got back from my two weeks on beautiful Lake Tenkiller in Oklahoma! I was able to get PBS so I was able to watch most of the convention coverage! Yeah!!!!

I get back to my family message board and find that my family is still stuck on stupid! I was reading the message posting and ran across this:

I don't fall for all this bs but my family eat it up like it's candy!! Can someone help me get some answers to this accusation? I don't know where to start looking for information that would clear up this bs!

1. Nothing prevents a hospital from having a policy which would state

that all babies delivered live, whether the parents wished to hold them or not, would be given
hospice appropriate care--i.e., any meds to relieve pain, holding until death--but nothing that would prolong life when the outcome is an expected death.

It's irrelevant whether Obama supports the bill or not--it's about money in the hospitals and having
enough staffing to take care of these babies as they die.

Sorry..but it isn't a joke. It's the truth. But it does seem stupid runs in the family. These babies are living individuals who pose no risk to the mother! To just let them die is not only ridiculous...it's nothing less than obscene! Where does one draw the line?
