The media as a whole is not the total tool of the pubs that some think it is. Strangely, the RW is full of people who say the same thing as you only in reverse. As a foreigner, it's pretty obvious that there's a few outliers to left and right and the majority of media outlets are relatively centrist. Your media in this country isn't a conspiracy, it's just craptastic.
