talking about Yale, the social upheavals there in the 60s....knew Kerry

he knew Bush, too; tried to talk him into republican politics, but Bush didn't want to HEAR anything?

Pataki says Kerry had "very clear political ambitions"

tweety, why didn't you ask Ptoui if HE had political ambitions

he's back in the tank again

1. Did you hear what Matthews said about the protesters?
He said they all looked like were from his (i.e. Matthews') Vietnam protest generation. Apparently Matthews is too busy talking about news to have the time to actually tune in to find out what the facts are behind the news. Most of the protesters were young people.

7. Notice how some of the most so-called "liberals" served,
and the most prominent chickenhawks didn't?

Note Michael Savage, too. Sounds like he may have inspired the attempted wife-murderer in Carl Hiaasen's "Skinny Dip." Really.

8. Pataki is a Republican and went to Yale, I am certain he DIDN'T serve.
Very few Ivy League Republicans served. They are way too special and privileged to serve alongside the working class sons.

They INHERIT money made from wars, they do not fight in wars themselves. They do not bleed for their country. That is what working class blood is for, not their blue blood.

They make me SICK.

10. Pataki, former Mayor of Peekskill, NY
My sister used to live in Peekskill and the buzz on Pataki was that he was a big, do-nothing dope. Even Guiliani didn't support him for governer, which pissed off Republicans big-time (that is, until he became 'St. Rudy of 9/11') But not for Al D'Amato he'd still be there.

I can tell you, before 9/11 Pataki completely ignored NYC- probably payback for Guiliani's snub. Only after 9/11 did he suddenly discover NYC and all the wonderful photo-ops with a Ground Zero panorama.
