Yeah, some of those websites are written by the same people that Swiftboated Kerry. But ... the second one was quoting things that McCain actually said, saying he agreed to give medical information if they would take him to a hospital.

I'm not saying that he is a bad person for not being able to hold out against torture. Of course, the "torture" that Fred Thompson just described wouldn't be considered "torture" by the Bush Administration. But don't make a big deal about him not breaking down when he did.

I would respect McCain a lot more if he would take a stronger stand AGAINST torture.

Would take a strong "not in this fucking lifetime" stance against it. Makes you wonder just how tortured he really was.

Of course, he's used to selling out his fellow soldiers, so this isn't anything new for him.
