The likeability question

When asked the question "With whom would you rather have a beer?" Bush usually wins - but I can't understand why. Over the years I've had beers with lots of Bush clones - and they are always BORING. I would much rather have a beer with someone who can carry on a conversation rather than a "Frat boy".

I would also much prefer a president who is smarter than I am.

That's why Kerry gets my vote as a beer drinking partner and as president.

That is what all the Bush types I've had the misfortune to meet have been like. Bush is NOT on my list for any party, but especially not on my list for any party where alcohol will be served.

He's an asshole sober. Drunk just magnifies it.

He is more likely than not, when snockered, to piss in your hat. Well, as much booze as he has swilled over the epochs, he could probably drink Kerry and most others under the table. Maybe not pickles.

his balls, a woman with a false eyelash aksew - laughing, tipsy.

Partying couple laugh, say to the group, "Boy I love having a beer with you guys - but I'm sure glad you're not running the country. Can you imagine what a mess we'd be in?"
