Info about the Kerry Travelers

I apologize to the poster who wanted information about the Travelers. I'm late posting it.

The campaign is lining up people to go to swing states. To find out more or to volunteer, go to johnkerry.com. Click on "be a volunteer" and then "join the travelers." (You might have to register first). They have a list of weekends and states and a place to list your skills or experience. The first weekend is in September--you can also volunteer to go for a week.

I'm not part of the campaign, so I know nothing about the travelers beyond what's on their site. I'm trying to convince one of my brothers to join me--I also have to arrange for child care and travel.

I've worked in presidential campaigns in California for the past few elections, but I think our state is a slam dunk for Kerry. I haven't traveled anywhere for a campaign since I worked for McGovern. About time I ventured out again.
