McCain must have seen the movie 'Idiocracy'

Have any of you seen 'Idiocracy'? I'm sure some of you have, and for those of you who haven't, RENT IT! McCain's choice of Palin, and the whole far-right/fundamentalist agenda is just about as dumb as the 500-years-in-the-future America of 'Idiocracy'. What's next? Choosing anyone standing on a street corner for VP? Or even President? After all, 'we' (not those of us on here, but too many Americans) prefer an Average Joe over someone who's actually smart, educated, and has thoughtful positions on a myriad of REAL issues, right?

I'm still just dumbfounded by McCain's choosing Palin, as is every other liberal I've talked to since he made that choice. God help us all to win in Nov., no pun intended, even though I'm an agnostic. :^)
