How many in your extended family voting for Kerry?
This would include, I suppose, grandparents, aunts, uncles, parents, siblings and their spouses, spouses, ex-spouses, children, stepchildren, grandchildre, nieces and nephews (whew).
Mine (for Kerry): mother, aunt, one single brother (and his 2 ex-wives), two married brothers and both their spouses, two sisters and both of their spouses, my spouse, my ex-spouse, my four children (one spouse and 3 significant others), my spouse's four children (all unattached), two nephews
(total of 29)
Mine (for Bush): zero, nada, nobody - (total of 0)
Mine (not voting): four nephews (weird religious deal) (total of 4)

5. Just one hold out for Bush in my family...
My daughter's husband is the holdout, but he's thinking seriously about not voting for Bush. He won't vote for Kerry, though.

For Kerry: me, my husband, both of my parents, my brother in law, and my mother in law.

13. my parents are in their 90s and they will be voting for
John Forbes Kerry; my 3 adult children plus one spouse are all voting for John Forbes Kerry; of my two siblings, one is definitely a Kerry backer while the other is the only "red stater" in the family!

so the count is: 8 for Kerry (including myself), 1 for Bush

:kick: :kick: :kick:

14. All but 2
As far as I know, all but 2 of my relatives are voting for Kerry...My aunt and her husband are nery conservative so-called 'pro-small business' republicans (they like to insist that Democrats hate small business or something). Oh, yeah, my dad too...I forgot I just found out he is supporting Bush and even CAMPAIGNING for Bill McCullum for Senate (UGH!)...but my mom, atleast 3 of my aunts, my grandmother and 2 cousins I know are voting for Kerry. Oh, and of course I will be voting for JFK as well.
My family totals:
Bush: 3
Kerry: 8

19. In all fairness
I guess I should include my dads family in all fairness..technically they are not related to me, since he married his wife after I turned 18 and moved out, but they are a very wealthy family (compared to me anyways)...they own a large RV Dealership, and the owner, my step-grandfather has a net worth in the millions. I dont think I have to state the obvious, but will anyways: They are very republican and are responsible for the brainwashing of my father who WAS a democrat for as long as I knew him...amazing what $$ can do to a man. In all, I can think of at least 6 Pro Bush people in that family...I try not to go around them too often, as I feel an extreme anxiety and desire to just debate them into the night...which I would be more than happy to do, but I dont for my dad. While I (now) disagree with him politically, I do love him and he stresses out REAL bad when shit goes down between his in laws and myself, so I try to just stay away, but my opinions are DEFINATELY known when I am around them. They are the only members of my 'extended family' that doesnt know that I am a gay man...half of them would have instant heart attacks. They are, as a group, the Anti-Scott...the exact opposite of me, and it drives me crazy to even be around them and have to listen to their words of hate, bias, discrimination and bigotry. It sickens me to see them drive around in their gas guzzling SUVs (and Every Damn One of them has one)...
Anyways, they are a strong political group with a LOT of clout in their small town in central florida.

18. Everyone I know of
That would be ten people. One brother I'm not in touch with. A sister voted for Nader last time and, though that's not the reason why, we haven't talked much since. I was raised Dem and to the best of my knowledge no one in my family is voting for Bush.

Most of my neighbors in my building, too. I got my photo of Kerry/Edwards from the DNC and saw that a number of others received theirs as well. :)

22. Kerry Votes: 7/8
Kerry Votes:

Me, and my wife (2, TX)
My parents (2, MD)
My sister and her husband (2, CA)
Mother in law (1, CA)

Shrubya votes:

Grandmother in law (1, CA), if she votes at all.

So, 7/8 Kerry votes (I'm not 100 percent certain on all of these but fairly sure). But all in solid Dem or Repub states, so none "count" for much under our screwy system. But we're voting anyway.

23. I'd have to guess for some, but overall my guess is most for Kerry
On my father's side (he has 7 siblings) I feel confident that at least 3 households (one is definite--he's involved with his local Democratic party) will vote Kerry. I can't imagine any of them voting Bush. My paternal grandmother is almost certainly voting Kerry, as well.

Mother's side: one definite household for Bush (Reagan-worshipping Christian fundamentalists...enough said); another unknown; and third most likely for Kerry, but not entirely certain. Maternal grandmother will probably not vote (socially conservative Catholic--extremely pro-life Southern traditionalist, but doesn't like Bush).

25. All.
2 parents (dad is registering voters in conservative Placer County, CA)
1 sister (also working on the campaign full time, starting next week)
2 bros
1 soon-to-be-ex brother-in-law (I'm holding him to at least *that* promise!)
my husband is a french citizen, so can't vote. yet.
2 aunts
1 nephew in the navy

and, of all of my 16 clients, only one couple is voting bush.

of my 3 employees, all are voting kerry.

of my 40+ colleagues in a professional org., I think perhaps 1 or 2 are Bushies.

Whew! That feels GOOOOOOOD!

I have a brother and sister who are undecided that is two undecided.

I have a sister and parents who are dead I miss them because they would have voted democratic.
