Talking points for going in the wrong direction ala Chris Matthews
Was thinking about Tweety's convo on Maher, and I'd like to do a newspaper advertisement along that line. Help me out.

He said (paraphrasing)
If you think this country is better off in the world going it alone, you know who your choice is.

I'm thinking of lines such as

If you're happy with companies outsourcing your jobs to other countries as they shut them down here, your choice is clear.

Etc.

Ideas?

1. I posted this on another board
Yes, vote for George W. Bush. You should if:
-You don't care about the environment;
-You don't care that we are racking up record deficits that will be a burden to our children and their children for generations to come;
- You support corporations in their quest to avoid nasty governmental "oversight" through deregulation (think "Enron" and "WorldCom" etc.);
-You support the same corporations in their quest to avoid having private citizens take them to task for injuries they cause through tort "reform";
- You actually LOVE attacking soverign nations without a reason;
- Your idea of a tough, decisive Commander-In-Chief includes having him sit in a classroom reading "The Pet Goat" to a group of children for seven minutes after being advised that our country is under attack, all the while having a blank, deer-in-the-headlights look in his eye;
- You agree that stem-cell research is a bad idea;
- You agree that a woman's right to choose what happens to her body should be abrogated;
- You don't mind the government slowly chipping away your civil rights, after all YOU have nothing to fear!;
-Heck, Medicare and Medicaid are bad ideas!
- You think the Social Security Trust Fund is a savings account that should be tapped for any reason!;
- You like it when the administration hides it's secrets! Hey, they're acting in our best interest!;
-You really, really hated the eight years of peace, prosperity and progress under William Jefferson Clinton.
Oh, I could go on and on, but for now, that is all.

2. If you are happy with a sixty hour work week with no
overtime, you know who your choice is.

If you are happy with 1000+ american dead, you know who to vote for.

If you are happy with the soaring cost of medical insurance, you know who your choice is.

If you are happy with the prospect of an impoverished retirement, you know who your choice is.
